About Us

In 1996 an idea was conceived that there was a need to put skippers with boats looking for crew together with crew that wanted to go sailing. When we started, the World Wide Web was still in it's infancy. It seemed like a a perfect medium to put the two together. Consequently, the Crew List was born. From a simple crew list we have expanded to provide many services that serve to sailing community. We are continually looking to expand our services and many of the ideas that we introduce come from our visitors. And now we have expanded our sites to include NorthWestSailing.com

Our Mission

Our mission is to grow and serve the sport of sailing. We are committed to introducing new people to the sport of sailing and to try and make all the resources necessary readily available on our web site. In addition, we want to provide existing sailors with as many resources as possible in order to enhance their enjoyment and participation in the sport as well as providing an on-line sailing community.
